Synchronize with sonic waves

Episode 507

So, I actually wanted to get the show a bit more quiet and ambient tonight. But then I came across all these great and partially hypnotic tracks. Not that they are pushing and up with beats, it's still a wonderful and colourful smorgasbord of aural treats. Moreover do these tracks bear a capturing filigree as if woven from the finest wires. Thus I fell for them and it felt wonderful. It also puts an end to a mixed week, where I got lots of things done, but still cannot find the real rest in mind. Maybe you know such times when thoughts keep spinning in your head. For example, because there are decisions or changes up that you are looking forward to but which still make you feel slightly uncomfortable. Or you are bursting of ideas but cannot decide where to start, which keeps you up all night. Hm, well. The tracks on this show helped me to peace out a bit, without being serene at all. Have a joyful time with Byron Metcalf & Jennifer Grais (Sacrament), Cat Friendly (Seas on the Moon / Compilation), Cousin Silas & Kevin Lyons (11 Tales of Space and Intrigue), Steve Roach (Trance Archeology), Wilfried Hanrath (Kantele / Compilation), and D-Echo Project (Cura).

Events on the horizon

Episode 506

Is it already the third show this year? Crazy. Seems, 2020 starts fast. And there is already a bunch of events going on these months. So be prepared for a busy time ni which events are lining up like rarely before. One of these events is a new one, too: db2fluctiation. It's a festival happening in Belgium on February 22. You won't get many more twos and zeros combined for a date. And of course you will get some impressions for the artists of that festival in this edition of syndae by Daniel B. Prothese (Hollektrokraut) and Nothing but Noise (Existence Oscillation (possible) Future). Beyond the festival, there is more elegant music on this show, of course So have a great evening with tracks by Eagle (Starry Starry Night 2020), Cornel Hecht (Ranger Things), Robert Jürjendal & Miguel Noya (The Power of Distance), and Remy (Exhibition of Dreams Revisited).

Loving it spicy

Episode 505

Tonight we have an interesting mixed style episode. Actually this is edition is fourth the year with its number of 505. So, if you are into numbers, here you go. The music on this show is not so mathematically focused, but surely kind of is, because it is electronic music in its best. And while I am sitting here enjoying the very mild winter we have so far, I definitely enjoy the tracks on this show making the air and myself vibrating. Of course, accompanied by the fitting images in my head, implied by the music of Point (Human Music), Darshan Ambient (A Day Like Any Other), Andy Pickford (Aphelion), MVar (Falling), Beukotreug (Cosmic Spring), and Klangzaun.

P.S.: By the time, this show was recorded, I did not know about the condition of Michael Allison (Darshan Ambient). Today and with great sadness, I got aware of him passing away. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Mery-Go-Round celebration

Episode 504

Welcome to the next decade in the two thousand's. It was a smooth and non-exciting time for me, well, mostly. Tonight marks the lift-off for more editions with fine electronic music on syndae. So, again, welcome! And I am sure there are some really exciting things in the making for 2020, some of which can already be heard on this edition. Now, technically, there is no reason for celebrating a new year. Earth just did another turn around our beloved star named sun. But it is like birthdays, a memorable loop of time for us humans. Let's hope for the best and such is the selection for tonight's edition with tracks by Eleon (Cerulean), MegaHast3r (Memories of an Old Man), Niteffect (Nip In The Bud), Fortadelis (Exposure), Cornel Hecht (Ranger Things), and Jabber (Shepherd Drift).

The many faces of the one

Episode 503

Oh, well, it's that time of the year again, when people get crazy, panically running around and looking for things to put in boxes. For hard core fans of syndae I do have a little surprise this time: The Dawn of Syndae is available as download album since today. It is an album having only one track: the title music of syndae. Well, except for one track, you will get to hear on the show tonight. Ok, that's about it for written self-advertisement. More than that you will find fantastic peaceful music fitting this special season. You could actually play this in family settings, if it weren't for me talking so much. But, hey, one cannot have it all. Howsoever, have a joyful 30 minutes with excellent tracks by Forrest Fang (Ancient Machines), Harald Nies (The Circle), Robert Scott Thompson (Green Flash and the Dryline Chaser), Three Fields (Undefined), moonbooter (Both Sides of the Moon). Oh, and the last one by myself.

Taking off some darkness

Episode 502

Living in the northern hemisphere this time around is not the most uplifting thing. It's quite dark throughout the day, not really helping regarding one's mood. Many people put some light in their garden or windows, which might help a bit. At least it looks nice and provides a visual warmth. And then there always is music to help out. For tonight, I picked some tracks more in the area of chill-out, and while some seem darker with respect to the title, they all have a positive vibe on them. So take a seat, tighten your headphones and enjoy the music by moonbooter (Both Sides of the Moon), Astral Robot (Zero Point Fluctuation), Time Away & Myth (Interception), 4T Thieves (Hauntology), Yunas Orchestra (Manhattan's Dream), and Mick Chillage (Perfect Projection / The River).

Food for your peaceful soul

Episode 501

So now we are over the hurdle of 500 episodes, going on with exciting fresh music starting into the second half of the millenium. And we start with easy, serene sounds quite fitting into the upcoming season. In the northern hemisphere, it also is the darkest time of the year. Fair enough to celebrate oneself and one's family all along and cheer up for the time to come. On this edition you will find wonderful tracks by Don Latarski (Frozen Moments), David Helpling (Rune), David Wright (Dissimilar Views 2 Remastered), jarguna and Friends (Trapped Vol. 3), Michael Brückner (The Undercurrent), and Static Dreamscapes (Manaslu).
