Refreshing news

Episode 126

More new releases are up, and on this episode you will get three more outstanding albums, which just saw their light. Two rather ambient but not necessarily quiet albums from masters of the genre, and a third one that is by one of the most interesting progressive electronic musicians who is also up for creating something new with his Desert Island Music label. Have a good listen to wonderful and inspiring tracks by John Praw, Marsen Jules Trio, and Remy.

Noiseful dancing

Episode 125

Intelligent Dance Music, short IDM, is as difficult a genre to demarcate as many others in the electronic music domain. On tonight's episode, some quite diverse sounding tracks will be presented, showing only a fragment of it. The commonality is a tendency to experiment with electronic sound and style, but keeping the tracks still rhythmic and dancable. Have a lot of fun with tracks by Anshlavs, Clicks and Errors, Fidelium, Myrakaru, Nerv'OZ, Rewir3d, and :10:.

Episode 124

This year started really well with respect to electronic music. From all the new releases, I picked three fresh ones for tonight's show, which impressed me the one or the other way. Well, there are more great and stunning albums to be introduced in upcoming shows, but these three somehow rocked me recently. The first provides musical reflections of paintings by dutch masters. A very cool idea and an impressive result to my ears. Further a very fine release taking ones subconsciousness for a flight. And another space exploring work of extraordinary beauty. On tonight's show, meet Bruno Sanfilippo, Remy, Ron Boots, and Walter Roos.

Join the celebration

Episode 123

Music is a difficult business and I think the biggest reward for artists is the acknowledgement of ones work by the audience. Last weekend, the german Schallwelle awards 2011 were presented to the best acts and albums of 2010 in the (traditional) electronic music genre. This genre surely builds the root and base of syndae podcast, looking back to its beginning, hence, who wouldn't expect me to celebrate the award's winners? Well, here it comes with Klaus Schulze, Matzumi, MorPheuSz, and Picture Palace music. Plus the top act of the ceremonies concerts, Robert Schroeder.
