It's Advent season for some religions. Fairy lights and illuminated stars sprout up out of nowhere, surely to fight the darker time of the year. What does this mean for syndae? Well, it means more great and melodic music treats are up for your listening pleasure. A festival of new material, that's what one could call this edition of syndae. Many of the albums you will hear from are right time for christmas season, if you celebrate it and make gifts. If not, well, you can still make gifts to yourself and others by getting hold of one or more of these albums and those still to come. Howsoever, of one thing I am sure, all the music you hear on syndae is a gift to someones ears and mind. And I am grateful for all those artists putting their inspirations to sound. Here I am, up for some fun to clear my mind of the miserable and cold weather. Hence, beats are up, ladies and gentlemen, with some nice rides back to the 1980s, well, sound wise, as the tracks are all current and modern. Back after a short break, where I was sitting in the sun while Germany starts freezing (har har), we are back with some brand new and recent electronic music whose heritage dates back to the 1980s. Yes, it's time for some sounds of the school era, when sequences and organic sounds dominated our aural experiences. Synths dramatically evolved since those day, but the style and warmth of the early days are still present and can be brought to good use in the right hands. Some of those hands composed and played the tracks on tonight's edition. It was a rainy late night. The wiper smeared the lights of passing cars over my front shield. And the sound of luaghter and cool music still resonated in my brain. Yes. I was on my way home from the impressive Electronic Circus festival this morning. And heaven seemed to know it's gone for this year. Well, no, I'm not sad, it was a great event and I enjoyed it a lot. Not that tonight's show has anything to do with it. Except for it being a short version.
