Sounding barbecue

Episode 224

So this is summer in 2013, about 30C and me sitting in front of the computer, both of us being cooled down by fans. Tonight's show does not contain chilling music, though. May be best to get a nice cool drink for listening. On the roster (ha!) are Sequential Dreams with a double featurette on their Fantastic Stories. Further we have Rewo and his "ceremonial" album Earth Festivities. A nice track from the compilation Atisha by RiZZi. And finally there is the Audio Cologne Project and their album 2911. Enjoy.

Cool waves

Episode 223

After a rather longish break, welcome back to syndae. Some rather chilly show tonight to fight the current warmth at my place, so I hope you don't mind. It starts with A Smaller Place, fresh from the CD press, by Patrick Geren. Then we have two tracks from the compilation Inhala by Nathan Jo and Nulix. And Remy did another collaboration album, this time with My Breath My Music. Followed by the twin album of Inhala named Exhala, with tracks by Eckul and aAirial. Finally, music by Th.e n.d who returned with a brand new album named Annodam 94.

Third of the number of the beast

Episode 222

Packed with new and recent stuff, this repdigit episode provides electronica in quite a diversity. Starting with the still steaming Another Day in Future by Vanderson. Followed by a two-tracker from Claus Martin's Going Modular. Then going to Undiscovered Shores with Kuutana. When xenoton takes us In a World of Lights and Glass. Afterwards, a quite surprising track by Martin Neuhold. Right before enjoying the Mystic Dawn with Gert Emmens and Cadenced Haven. The new René Splinter introduces Modern Ruins. And then Voynich shows up with a new fine track of his collection. Concluding the show with the classic Oldambt by Gert Blokzijl.

Sound is natural

Episode 221

Being out in the wild, either nature or town, one should always listen to what is around. There may not only be noise, but sometimes there's music within the air. Tonight's artists did listen and so here comes a show packed with all the ambience you need. Starting off with Erik Wøllos EP Celestia. Followed by Supernature by UtopiaXO. We then show some Fangtooth brought to us by Brachial Palsy. And introducing Rasa Dance by ambient master Steve Roach. A new lady on kahvi next, Caroline Jago and her release Spectral Adumbriations. Eventually, S7ven presents A Comforting Thought. And the new album Umbra shows up, which is by Vate. Finally, Radio Free Clear Light is back with Nomina Nuda Tenemus.

Facing new spirits

Episode 220

Are we there yet? Well, at least, sommer seems in sight. And with some sun back in mind, tonight we have lots of new albums on the roster. First up is WSOP and his Deepflow. Second, a first track from the compilation Indian Spirit by Manasuna. A new name with a new release then, having Echoes from Rena Jones. Also new, Samsara by the ingenius Dead Beat Project. Followed by another newbie on syndae, Weedekind with his album Heiter bis wolkig. And closing the show with a second track from the Indian Spirit compilation by Saregama.

Electronic borderlands

Episode 219

As someone else would say, tonight we have some listening exercises, and it will get a little dirty, so don't forget your gumboots. The show starts light, though, with Premute feat. Limit's End on Nome. Then we noise up with Bnaja and his track from Snowflakes III. Not stopping here, but descending into Hargest Darken's Abschied ist ein schweres Schaf. Afterwards, becoming Compressed by Nukua and learning about Everyon Belongs to Everyone Else by Illusion of Presence. It takes us shortly Kurz-above with Telegraphy, right before we learn from Weldroid and Illl about the Wrath of the Gods.

Beats like a drum

Episode 218

We pamper the beats tonight, given some constant rhythmic focus in our tracks but quite varying in speed. This show's sound sometimes gets a bit darker, more melancholic in style than usually. But still, overall, very cool and fitting music. The entrée is made by Fort Fairfield with their brand new album Prenzlauer Berg. More pushing then, with Sankt Otten's soon to come album Die Messias Maschine. Getting a bit lighter with Varier and then being Futurized by Nattefrost. After that, Monsieur Electronique sends us to Tsokati Beach. Right before we enjoy Exoskeletons in Space with Bluetech.

Clouding scapes

Episode 217

Some times are just fortunate, and time washes luck ashore ones life. A wonderful thing this is, even more so, if it happens to people close to you. Well, I feel quite lucky, and I hope and think, some of you do so as well. Hence, time for beautiful sounds of heaven. Starting right into it with Acrilic Colors' Ab Origine. And then, we let the Parallel Sun shine on us. Afterwards, Kangaroo MusiQue gives an inspiring moment from Kometenjunge II. Just before Owann enchants us with his beautiful Meadows. Richard Bone then shows Images from a Parallel Word. While Data Rebel presents Illusions of Reality. Very intreaguing at last, we get an Introduction by The Glimmer Room.

Sound graffiti

Episode 216

Sometimes, you need a little poke for having the right vision. I got one for compiling tonight's show, thanks to Jörg Erren. Now, to me, this resulted in a really cool set of tracks of not so common but stunning electronic music and I hope you will enjoy them as much as I did. It all starts with the brand new album Protozorq by Weldroid as marvelous entrée. Followed by a look back on Morphogenic by Parallel Worlds and Dave Bessel. Then, new names to syndae, starting with Musica para Khaos, no chaos at all with Otro Viaje con Jacques Cousteau. Some astounding live jam track, thereafter, by NYC-based Rheyne. And finally, Weathered Wall with a portion of Black Blood.
