Easeful sceneries

Episode 283

Resting from all the seasons hustle-bustle tonight, reflecting above the past weeks and thinking about what's to come. Looking for some inner peace, really, that's the mood I am in for tonight's show. Not a festive mood, beware, heard enough of those christmas tracks on the radio these days. So, time to provide my busy mind with a time out. Although, starting a bit nervous still with Phaeleh and his album Somnus. Taking some Time given by Walter Roos then. Happily welcoming back Palancar to our musical guests with Counting Raindrops. Then we follow Vague Traces by Phillip Wilkerson and Chris Russel. Obviously, dwelling in the Silent World with blessings by Csillagköd. We meet Nyul's When the Path Fades. And, finally, will admire the Luminosities presented by Three Fields.

Sounds outside the box

Episode 282

Up for some out of the ordinary electronic music? Well, I am. And, I think, it's not so odd sounds you will get to hear. Rather inspiring and broading one's senses, really. It all starts easy with Pandacetamol and his Fluffy Inside 3. We have Saul Freeman, the man behind Thieves and Mandalay, proposing solo with Wait:Speak. Then there is Photophob's new treat named Partial Plug. A live extract after that, by Ketamu. We're going to listen to some Negative Mantras. Moreover, some really nice Sounds from the Lysergic Sun by Void of Realms. Closing this all with a powerplay from Eniac's Reclaim the Horizon.

Glistening waves

Episode 280

I love those colourful nights in autumn. Yeah, the temperatures could be more comfortable, but then again, I can wrap myself in cosy clothes and watch the silence. Not so quiet, but beautiful and relaxing is tonight's music. Our starter is one of my early favourits, Brainwork and his album Sunrise. A little event warm up follow, heads up for Steve Baltes and Stefan Erbe live in the Planetarium of Bochum, with tracks from Legacies and Bochum Sky. More new music comes from Audio Cephlon with his late free release. And also brand new is Pieces by the experienced composer Andreas Hack. A shorty then, a nice treat by Adakekema. Right before tonight's finale from the album Beam by Winter Maps.

Hypnotic patterns

Episode 278

Back to school tonight, the Berlin one of course, having lots of nice soundscapes and sequencing tonight. I usually call it traditional electronica, not because people wear strange dresses and dance in circles, but because that's where EM started out. Quite a hand full of great such tracks tonight, half a dozen to be precise. It all begins with a new name to syndae, WellenVorm with Toene des Nebels. Also new, Pharamond and his album Orbis Tertius. Then, a look back on the Schallwelle compilation from August this year, with a mesmerizing track by Synchronized. We then have the new album Frames by Rene Splinter. Followed by the collaboration project Gorgon Nebula and their album Gorgon Stare. Closing up this show with Nano by Fratoroler.

We will continue by Forcasting the Future with Vortex Mechanic. More great music on the show, there comes Altocirrus with Murmuration. The grass is greener...

Episode 276

What a crazy autumn start. So many EM events one can barely imagine. Time, at least for me, to take a deep breath and step back a little. I'd be happy, if you choose to join me with this brand new edition of syndae indulging in ambience. Listen in to discover the beauty of quietude, where we start calm, get a bit stirred up and ending in a beauty. It all starts with a beautiful track by Bruno Sanfilippo from his album ClarOscuro. Followed by Orrorin Daydream who seduces us Like a Lioness. We then join The Ancestor Circle with Steve Roach and Jorge Reyes. Massimo Discepoli then takes us into his Parallax. And EugeneKha afterwards presents Etudes-1: Close Space. Close to the end, Maneki Neko is up with Muichi Motsu. And our fine final is by Sensory++ with Planet.
